aboard one of the snowmobiles waiting outside ready for your first drive - to the husky farm.
Travel through the wilderness Now you’ve got the hang of the snowmobile, it’s time for something different. Reaching the husky farm, swap motor for dog to enjoy a thrilling sled journey through the frosty wilderness. As if that wasn’t enough, your husky sled trip will be followed by a ride in a sleigh pulled by reindeer, quietly swishing across the snow.
View the breathtaking scenery After a pick-me-up of light refreshments, you’ll head off on your second snowmobile journey, this time through the forest: a fairy-tale setting for an exhilarating ride.
Enjoy a warming meal
You will certainly have worked up an appetite during the morning activities, so you’ll be whisked off by coach for lunch at Snowland – an enchanting igloo restaurant illuminated by snow and ice lanterns. Here you can warm your hands at an open fireplace and sit on ice benches whilst drinking the local Finnish tipple from a glass made of ice. Lunch will be served to you under the starry sky.
Visit Santa’s village
You will also have the chance to explore Santa Claus' Village in the Arctic Circle – it’s not just for kids! You might meet Father Christmas at Santa Claus' Office, visit the nostalgic Christmas Exhibition and write to a friend at Santa Claus' Post Office, where your letter will be stamped with the Arctic Circle postmark.
In addition, there are shops selling all kinds of gifts, such as locally crafted jewellery, bags and clothes, perfect in the run-up to Christmas or just to find a souvenir of your trip. If Santa and shopping aren’t quite your thing, there are also several restaurants and bars where you can sit and relax with a drink instead, but don’t forget to get a certificate to mark your crossing of the Arctic Circle.
Please note: this trip is for adults aged over 18 years only. Snowmobiles are for two people sharing. The driver will be required to show a full UK or EU driving licence. The activities will not necessarily run in this order.
